Graphology associates handwriting with personality. Each proposed link needs an independent test of its predictive value.

One test gives several readers the same anonymous writing and compares their judgments with a preselected personality measure. In Dazzi and Pedrabissi’s research the judgments did not establish an ability to measure the five personality dimensions under study.
Suppose a report links rightward slant to honesty. Separate the visual observation from the character judgement. Measuring the slant neither establishes honesty nor identifies who wrote the page.
A person may form one letter several ways even within one sentence. Comparison needs a range of examples rather than the nearest match.
