Worked examples
A client photographs a page printed from a scan received through a messaging app. Tiny gaps appear in the signature. List the scanning, transmission, printing and photography steps in time order, then request the earliest available file.
Compare the same area in the two versions and note the first version in which the gaps are visible. A difference describes the copies actually examined. It does not show that the pen lifted at that spot when the signature was written.
Record a change in payment terms even when the page breaks differ.
