Objecting to probate when a signature is disputed

First establish whether the application is pending or an order has already been issued.

Legal document examination / Forensic handwriting and documents in legal disputes

In Israel, an objection may be filed with the Inheritance Registrar after an application for probate is filed and before the order is issued. Check the deadline in the notice. Identify the signature, what you know firsthand and who holds the original. Include an affidavit verified by a lawyer and documents supporting the objection.

A duly filed objection and the probate application are referred to the Family Court for decision. If an order already exists, consider the separate procedure for seeking its cancellation. Comparing images does not file an objection or suspend a deadline.
